    This self-paced training is designed to help you do just that.


    In this course, you will learn:


    Your rights as a person with lived experience in the public mental health system

    Practical assertiveness skills to strengthen your voice and confidence

    How to effectively communicate with providers and members of your care team

    Where to turn for help if you experience rights violations, abuse, neglect, or exploitation

    How to navigate the system and access the support you deserve


    This training empowers you to move from feeling uncertain or unheard to becoming informed, confident, and in control of your journey.


    Course Details

    • Format: Self-paced, online
    • Duration: Approximately 1.5 hours
    • Structure: Three modules, each featuring a 20–30 minute video and a short     knowledge assessment
    • Certificate: Issued upon completion of all modules and course evaluation
