Position Summary: The SAMHSA Project Coordinator will organize, manage, and plan complex activities for grant implementation efforts.

· Provides daily oversight of the grant
· Ensures the implementation of the project activities
· Ensures participants are engaged in projects
· Disseminates information to participants
· Facilitates and supports meetings as needed
· Develops CCBHC informational material
· Oversees the development of the COSP
Certification/Accreditation standards and grid
· Develops measures for Data Collection
· Collects, inputs, and ensures security of data
· Facilitates outreach to target populations
· Reports project progress to Peer Network Board of Directors
· Collaborates closely with all grant stakeholders
· Writes and submits grant reports when required
· Performs other project related duties as needed
Competencies: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following.
Education/Experience:
· Must have high school diploma or equivalent and relevant job experience. Must have at least 2 years of experience in providing mental health peer support.
· Experience in managing grants
· Experience in providing peer services
· Prior experience in data collection and developing data measures
· Has an understanding of the certifying process.
Language Ability:
· Read, analyze and interpret business, professional, technical or governmental documents. Write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers and the public. Networks and coordinates outreach events.
Mathematical Ability:
· Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Compute rate, ratio and percent, and draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to work with a budget.
Reasoning Ability:
· Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills:
· Must be comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher. Must be proficient in using email and cloud storage systems. Excellent computer skills preferred.
Certificates and Licenses:
· Meets the criteria to be a certified peer specialist.
